In the last 7 years, Jody Perry the skipper has
guided top pro-surfers and photographers to the
best, un-crowded surf locations. Our ground crew
in Padang, and the Midas boat crew, have also
worked in the Indonesian surf business for many
years.
Completely refurbished in 2006 with
state-of-the-art equipment and cabins, our boat
comfortably accommodates 6 to 10 people. Powered
by twin 1100hp Man diesel motors, Midas can reach
speeds of up to 26 knots, allowing guests to
explore remote Mentawai surf spots that slower
boats simply cannot reach.
For those who wish to hold cruise private or
corporate parties near the Mentawai Islands, Midas
offers private charter for the perfect day and
evening cruises! Party on the Midas boat deck with
your friends, or have a sophisticated event to
entertain your corporate guests. Midas boats can
comfortably accommodate up to 35 passengers and
can be chartered privately in Singapore, Langkawi
and Phuket between December and March.
